Sunday night was another one for the Afrobeats history books as sonic superstars Rema, Tems and Burna Boy, respectively, thrilled the audience at the NBA halftime show, in Utah, United States, with their enigmatic performances.
Barring all statistical ‘odds’ of having fewer Afrobeats’ fans in Utah, these fantastic-three seized the hearts of everyone watching as they each performed for about 5 minutes. Burna Boy opened the floor with a lineup of his smash hits, “Last Last,” “Anybody” and “It’s Plenty” while Tems stepped out with a more relaxed ardor as she performed her hits “Free Mind”, “Crazy Tings” and “Essence,” while the Rave Lord got the crowd energized with a more stylistic rendition of his most recent hits “Calm Down” and “Holiday.”
